Most people would presume that once you reach a certain age, you no longer want sex right?
Intimacy perhaps, full blown penetration, no?
Wrong!
A survey of over 2000 older British people has uncovered the real truth and it is very different to what most people think it is…
According to the survey conducted by the charity; Independent Age:
- 1 in 10 over 75’s have had multiple partners since turning 65
- 52% of over 65’s don’t believe they are having enough sex n
- Nearly a third of all those surveyed, confirmed they are happy to have sex on the first date
The survey also showed us that it is not only younger people that benefit from online dating and in fact, has proven very popular for older people with more than 1 in 4 over 65’s claiming they are in a relationship that actually started online!
Interestingly, 1 in 6 people aged 65 or over claimed they would only stop having sex if the opportunities to indulge dried up!
