It’s no secret that ladies believe they know all there is to know about men and their sexuality.
Often myths are taken as gospel when in most cases, the reality is so very different.
Below are 4 myths about men that are often presumed but couldn’t be further from the truth.
MEN WANT SEX ALL THE TIME!
Quite possibly true in the case of some men, but the same can be said for some women too!
The whole idea that men want sex and women want love is so played out!
It’s dated but it’s easy to see where this notion came from…
It’s always been seen as OK for a man to want and in a lot of cases, have a lot of sex with various women whilst in stark contrast, historically, if a woman were to be open about her wants and needs as well as her body count, she was often met with scrutiny and abuse.
The fact of the matter is, both men and women want sex and equally, both men and women want love. How much sex anyone wants is down to their individual sex drive and has absolutely nothing to do with gender.
HIS ERECTION PROVES HE FANCIES YOU!
Sadly, a lot of women believe his penis is an indicator of whether he is attracted to you or not… WRONG!
Whilst an erect penis certainly suggests he is sexually aroused, if he doesn’t get hard or has problems sustaining an erection, this does not mean he does not want sex or doesn’t fancy you.
There are many factors that come in to play when it comes to hard ons and whilst it seems so simple, it’s not!
Stress, alcohol, anxiety and a whole host of other factors can affect his ability to sustain an erection and his performance.
Arousal happens in the brain yet we have been conditioned to believe an erect penis on a man is the only real way to know he is aroused.
Definitely not the case and understanding this, could help put to bed a lot of insecurities on both sides.
HE MUST BE GAY IF HE ENJOYS ANAL STIMULATION!
WRONG again!
Whilst many openly claim they agree that anal stimulation does not make a man gay, deep down, some still do.
Unfortunately society tells us that only gay men enjoy being stimulated in this way despite the plethora of studies that tell us otherwise.
Many a straight man has admitted to enjoying anal play and to be honest, why wouldn’t he?
The anus is an erogenous zone!
The bottom line (no pun intended) is, it takes a lot more than having your anus stimulated to be gay.
MEN ARE OBSESSED WITH PORN!
Yes, it is true, most men watch porn but it does not mean they are obsessed with it.
In fact most of the men that watch porn, still enjoy sex with their partners and actually use porn for masturbation purposes or lad banter.
It’s also important to note, more and more women are indulging in porn regularly too!
I suspect the horniest woman on the planet is hornier than the horniest man. They both might have the same appetite but, when she reaches the table, she will be having multiple orgasms over a prolonged period, whereas he will he have satisfied his need within minutes. That’s why women are so happy to find a good lover and so disappointed when he turns out to be sharing it out amongst his friends!
