According to the Lovehoney survey of more than 4,000 people as part of its Mind The Gap campaign which is aimed at making couples come together more often; Brits generally tend to spend roughly 9 minutes on foreplay and engage in sexual intercourse for less than 10 minutes at a time.
That’s a total of 19 minutes!
Doesn’t seem long does it?
Well apparently it is more than enough.
Of those surveyed, the majority of people claimed they were satisfied with what they got, whilst approximately a quarter said they would need at least another 20 minutes on top of that!
The survey also highlighted some startling facts…
Coming together is almost a myth given that sexual encounters tend to brief and only 21% of couples claim they have shared orgasms.
Quickies tend to be the go-to these days because apparently, there just isn’t enough time for more than that.
Interestingly, three quarters of men say they get to orgasm almost every time they have sex, whilst only 28% of women could vouch for the same.
Ladies, these stats definitely need to change – you have to be in it to win it!
