Today is Beyoncé’s birthday and to honour her fabulousness, we want to salute her relationship with hubby Jay Z!
From where we are sitting, yes, it’s had ups and downs but for the most part, it seems to be up!
The pair tied the knot back in 2008 and despite all the speculation surrounding the Queen Bey’s recent visual album; Lemonade, Beyoncé and Jay Z are still very much together and there doesn’t seem to be much sign of ‘Becky with the good hair’ either.
So what makes their relationship last?
Forget the fact that together, they have a combined wealth of in excess of a billion dollars and apart from being devoted to raising their beautiful daughter; Blue Ivy, we imagine it works because a lot of hard work is put in to it.
Nothing works without work…simple!
We don’t doubt over the years, there has been a blazing row or two, even the odd trial separation here and there but when it is all said and done, Beyoncé still refers to Jay Z as her husband and that’s all that matters right?
